Proverbs 15:11
Proverbs 15:11
Hell and destruction are before the Lord how much more then the hearts of the children of men.
The reference to hell and destruction in the context of God’s omniscience is a powerful reminder of His all-seeing nature. He knows not only the physical realms but also the spiritual state of every heart. This understanding invites believers to live transparently before God, knowing that nothing is hidden from Him. God’s insight into the human heart is not meant to incite fear but to encourage honesty and humility in our relationship with Him. It’s an invitation to seek purity and integrity, to let go of anything that leads us toward spiritual destruction, and to embrace a life that honors God’s wisdom and holiness. By aligning our hearts with His divine understanding, we experience the fullness of His love and guidance, avoiding paths that lead to destruction and instead finding life in His grace and mercy.
Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mark 9:43
It is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.
Isaiah 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure.
Psalm 18:5
The sorrows of hell compassed me about the snares of death prevented me.
